Note

E’ un modesto edificio neoclassico, sorto nel triennio 1840- 1842, su progetto dell’architetto Giuseppe Leoni, quale sede della Accademia Filodrammatica. Nel 1881 divenne la sede del Liceo Musicale che vi rimase fino al l 1928. Successivamente vi si insediò la Casa del Soldato che lo occupò fino al secondo conflitto mondiale. Restaurato dai danni bellici, dal 1955 è diventato la sede del Teatro Stabile di Torino che vi allestisce ancora oggi alcuni spettacoli. E’ di proprietà comunale e ha una capienza di 322 posti.
