Theatre and cinema, built 1921 by Hoffman-Hennon architects. Opened 28 Jan 1921 with the film Forbidden Fruit. Named in honour of Stanley Mastbaum (the already existing Stanley Theatre at another site was renamed Stanton Theatre, later Milgram Theatre). Originally 3000 seats, later 2916 seats, after 1959: 2300 seats. Closed 20 Jan 1970. Demolished 1973 in favour of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange building. (English)
