A person is a living being that is used in the database to identify important persons, writers of information, etc.

Label*

  • The name of the person in it's original language
  • We do not translate this.
  • Syntax: First name, Middle name or characters, Last name (but without commas, for example: Jean-Baptiste André Godin)

Description

  • You can give a short (max 30 words) description of the person
  • Syntax: nationality + occupation(s), for example: Italian architect and engineer.
  • Optional to add dates of birth and death or other significant information about this person, for example: British engineer and inventor of Stereo.
  • This will (not always) be translated

Also known as

  • This field is used to facilitate searching.
  • Always add Last name
  • Add alternative spelling
  • Add nicknames

Basic information

Field (P19)*

  • Defines in what field the person was active and makes it possible to find all persons in a specific field of interest.
  • Multiple entries are possible, but avoid to use to many fields.

Importance (P20)

  • defines how important this person was for the history of technical theatre, it is used to select items for large visualisations.
  • In case of local or national or regional importance: use the context as a qualifier to define for which concrete geographic region.

  • a period in time significant for the person, relating to a cultural movement, an architectural style or historic period.

  • Refers to an other person the person worked with
  • this is a bi-directional inverse property, it can be used on both sides.
