context: 1980s, under the direction of architect Boris Zhezherin, the theatre was reconstructed, during which the internal structure of the rooms changed. Grimerooms and rehearsal rooms became bigger, and a choral class appeared. The stage was also enlarged. Its area after the reconstruction is 824 square metres. The orchestra pit was re-equipped, which now accommodates about 100 musicians, and the old organ was replaced with a new one. The latter was made to the special order of the theatre by the company "Ridger-Klos" from the Czech Republic. Overall, the reconstruction significantly expanded the theatre's space. (English)
