Fu eretto nel biennio 1856-57 sull’area dell’antico Teatro degli Obizzi, distrutto da un incendio nel 1769. Restaurato nel 1873, è stato successivamente completamente ricostruito nel biennio 1912-13 su disegno di Fausto Finzi e Antonio Mazza. Attualmente è utilizzato come cinematografo e appartiene ad ima società privata. (Italian)
