Built 1959-1963 by Marcel Mersier on the site of a previous theatre (destroyed in World War II). 400 seats. Named in honour of the French playwright, Roger Ferdinand (1898-1967). Opened 11 Oct 1963 with Roger Ferdinand's play Trois garçons, une fille, in presence of the author. The complex also includes the multi-purpose event hall Salle des Fêtes Salvador-Allende. (English)
