Built 1966-1969 by W. Hänsch, H. Löschau, a.o. The complex includes the concert hall Festsaal (2400 seats), a chamber theatre, and various function rooms (for 1200 visitors). Home to the Dresdner Philharmonie orchestra. Used for congresses, classical concerts, and pop concerts. 2013-2017 major interior rebuilding, converting the multi-purpose hall to a concert hall, surrounded by a municipal library. 1754 seats.
