Built 1893 as DeGive's Grand Opera House for Laurent DeGive. After an auditorium rebuilding, renamed Loew's Grand Theatre and used as a cinema. Site of the world premiere screening of Gone with the Wind on 15 Dec 1939. Damaged by fire in Jan 1978. Remains demolished in favour of the office block Georgia-Pacific Tower. (English)
