Opened 11 Oct 1886 as H.C. Miner's Newark Theatre. 1916-1917 extended and rebuilt by Thomas W. Lamb. Later renamed Paramount Theatre and used as a cinema. 1996 seats. Closed 1 April 1986. Lobby converted in to retail space. Stage and auditorium areas abandoned. (English)
