España ha cedido a Marruecos el Gran Teatro Cervantes de Tánger, que era patrimonio del Estado español desde 1928. "Ningún gobierno español se ha hecho cargo de este edificio histórico que ha sido saqueado y se encuentra en ruina", se lamenta Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente.El teatro fue un foco de la cultura española y lugar de paso de grandes artistas e intelectuales de la época. Ahora Marruecos se ha comprometido a conservar el edificio y a "mantener un componente español" en la programación. (Spanish)

Spain has ceded to Morocco the Gran Teatro Cervantes in Tangiers, which had belonged to the Spanish state since 1928. "No Spanish government has taken charge of this historic building, which has been plundered and is in ruins," laments Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente.The theatre was a focal point of Spanish culture and a place of passage for great artists and intellectuals of the time. Morocco is now committed to preserving the building and "maintaining a Spanish component" in the programming. (English)
