Inaugurado en 1873, fue teatro de pequeñas dimensiones que quedó arrasado por un incendio en 1876 (Suarez Perales p.73) (el incendio según Angel Luis y según Martínez Olmedilla en 1880). Su actividad se trasladó al Teatro de la Infantil. Sainz de Robles dice que funciona de 1841 a 1868 con Julián Romea.. Fernando Andura en AAVV 1992, p. 103, cuenta el incendio... noticias de hemeroteca de inauguracion de 1873 y de incendio de 1876 (Spanish)
