Built 1925 by Frank Grad as Salaam Temple for the Shriners (a masonic society). Opened 8 Sep 1925. Also known as The Mosque and Mosque Theatre. 1964 renamed Symphony Hall. Subsequently home to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, New Jersey State Opera and the New Jersey Ballet Company. Currently used as a performing arts center. (English)
