    Built 1779 as Herzogliches Hoftheater (Ducal Court Theatre). 1798 rebuilding. From 1815 known as Großherzogliches Hoftheater (Grand Ducal Court Theatre). Destroyed by a fire in 1825. Replaced by a new Hoftheater. (English)
