Built 1831 as a military riding school (Manège). After World War II, used as a multi-purpose hall, ballroom, sports hall and tailors' workshop. In the early 1980s converted into a theatre and extended by an entrance and foyer wing. Opened 8 May 1983. 1991 declared a Scène nationale. (English)
