Broadway theatre, built 1913 by Henry Beaumont Herts. Opened 2 Oct 1913 with Shakespeare's Hamlet. Used for musical and drama productions. From 1975 to 1990, site of 6137 performances of the musical, A Chorus Line. 1996 restorations. 1460 seats. The building also contains the offices of the Shubert Theatre Organization. (English)
