Built 1960 by Harry Weese as Arena Stage for the regional theatre company of that name. 2008-2010 major renovation and rebuilding by Bing Thom Architects. Re-opened as Mead Center for American Theater, still used by the Arena Stage company. The complex contains three halls: Fichandler Stage (680 seats), Kreeger Theater (514 seats) and Kogod Cradle (200 seats). (English)
