Opened 16 Sep 1916 with Beethoven's opera Fidelio and Heinrich von Kleist's drama Prinz Friedrich von Homburg. 1968 rebuildings. 2005-2008 rebuilding by Springer Architekten. Re-opened 29 Feb 2008. One of the homes of the Theater Vorpommern opera, ballet and drama ensembles. (English)
