Built 1928 as post office headquarters (Correo Central). 2010-2012 converted into a cultural centre. Opened 24 May 2010 as Centro Cultural del Bicentenario. 2020 renamed Centro Cultural Néstor Kirchner after president Néstor Kirchner (1950-2010). 2024 renamed Palacio Libertad, Centro Cultural Domingo Faustino Sarmiento after president Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (1811-1888). The complex contains two concert halls: Auditorio Nacional (1950 seats) and Sala Argentina (540 seats). (English)
