Introduction
The properties below are specific for dimmers. They are to be used on top of the general equipment properties described in the Equipment help page.
If a dimmer is part of a lighting console, it will be described as a lighting console, but also as a dimmer using the properties below. Therefore it will have two qualifiers [type of equipment].

Specific properties for dimmers
Control signal (P344)
- The control signal that can be fead to the dimmer
- Multiple values possible

Dimming method (P202)
- The method used to dim the light

Channels (P345)
- Number of output channels of a dimmer or lightboard
Max load per channel (P347)
- The maximum wattage a channel can provide.
- Prefered unit is Watt
- Multiple values are possible if dimmers with different maximum loads are in the same equipment. Use channels as a qualifier to define how much channels for a specific load.
Max total load (P348)
- The maximum wattage the appliance can provide.
- Prefered unit is Watt
Power supply configuration (P346)
- The connection arrangement used to connect the equipment to the power supply
- Multiple values possible (in case of switchable equipment)

Connector type (P230)
- Use only for unique pieces, or types that have a build in connector
- Can be used for power supply as well as for control signal connections.
- Can be used as a separate property as well as a qualifier under the appropriate property.
