Introduction

The properties below are specific for spotlights. They are to be used on top of the general equipment properties described in the Equipment help page.

Specific properties for spotlights

Light source

Lamp socket (P322)

  • The device inside the spotlight which holds the lamp and connects it to electric current.

Lamp maximum wattage (P192)

  • The maximum lamp wattage that can be used in this fixture
  • Prefered Unit is Watt

Lamp type (P126)

Lamp type value list (Q622) 

Light source (P127)

  • The way the light within the lamp or the fixture is produced
  • Use only if the light source is incorporated and unchangable part of the fixture

Dimming method (P202)

  • Use only if the fixture has a dimmer incorporated.

Electrics

Connector type (P230)

  • Use only for unique pieces, or types that have a build in connector

Can be used for power supply as well as for control signal connections. Can be used as a separate property as well as a qualifier under the appropriate property.

Optics

Opening angle (in degrees) (P191)

  • Multiple values possible
  • Unit is degree

Lens type (P340)

  • Can have multiple values

Lens Diameter (P341)

  • Prefered unit is mm

Mechanics

Motion mechanism (P342)

  • The type mechanism that moves the lamp or lens of a spotlight.

  • The type of mechanism that blocks the moving parts when not used

IP rating (P343)

  • The IP code or ingress protection code indicates how well a device is protected against water and dust.

Control signal

  • Use only if the fixture accepts a control signal
  • Multile values possible

  • Lenght (L) of the spotlight
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot width (P195)

  • Width (W) of the spotlight
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot width with bracket (P196)

  • Width (TW) of the spotlight
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot height (P197)

  • Height (h) of the spotlight
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot height with bracket (P198)

  • Height (Th) of the spotlight
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot filter frame width (P199)

  • Inside width (FW) of the filter casette
  • Prefered unit is mm

Spot filter frame height (P200)

  • Inside height (Fh) of the filter casette
  • Prefered unit is mm

Weight

Weight (P193)

  • The weight without packaging or assessories
  • Prefered unit is Kg

Accessories, parts and functions

  • Refers to accessories this spotlight can recieve
  • For unique pieces, use only if the accessory is present

Has part (P137)

  • Refers to a (permanent) part or component of the equipment

  • Refers to a specific funtion of the equipment
