Opened 26 July 1969 as Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. 1994 renamed Marcus Performing Arts Center in honour of Ben and Ceil after a large donation by the Marcus Corporation, a theatre and hotel operator. Home to Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Ballet and other local organizations. (English)
