Destroyed by a fire on 21 Jan 1901, with only the exterior walls surviving. - Second theatre built 1901-1903 by Tony Ferret and Georges Ferret within the walls of the former theatre. Opened Aug 1903 with Victor Hugo's drama Hernani. 1995-1997 renovations. 2009-2012 exterior renovations. 616 seats. (English)
