The letters of Suzdal in 3D

Bishop Abraham (Abrahamius) of Suzdal traveled to the Council of Florence, held between 1431 and 1449. During his travel he visited several church plays. He made an enthusiastic and detailed description of the Florence sacre rappresentazioni, the mysteries depicting the Annunciation and Ascension, called the Letters of Suzdal. These letters are a rare source about the, by definition temporary, medieval technology used to fly people.
